Why Winterslow?

We are a small village school where children 'Explore, Discover and Sparkle.' Our strong and caring relationships with our pupils and families, alongside our rich and stimulating curriculum, ensures every child 'sparkles' throughout their school journey.

Starting School (Reception)

A school place in our Reception class is available for children from the September following their 4th birthday. We are a one form entry school with 30 places for each year.

Whilst we are a village school serving our local community, we also warmly welcome prospective families from wider areas of Salisbury and families across the Hampshire border.

Applications for Reception

Applications are now open! Parents will receive notification from the local authority of your allocated school reception place for September 2025 in early April.  Shortly after this we will be in contact with families to give you more information about our transition visits. 

Applications must be made via your home county council admissions portal.

Changing schools (in-year transfers)

We recognise that family circumstances change and you may be considering an in-year move for your child. We encourage you to book a tour to discuss a move for your child(ren).
