In-year Admissions

At Winterslow CE Primary School, we understand that joining a new school mid-year can feel like a big step for both children and their families. That’s why we take great care to make every in-year transition as smooth and welcoming as possible.

Our single year group classes allow teachers to quickly build strong relationships and tailor support, helping new pupils settle in with confidence. Alongside tours, we offer flexible transition experiences including half and full day taster sessions for children to enable them to experience school-life at Winterslow and feel as supported and settled as possible.

Once your child begins with us, we have a strong buddy system in place and a supportive 'transition quest' to help welcome them into our school family. 

We warmly welcome direct enquiries from families considering a move and we will always do our best to accommodate visits and answer questions.
