Prayer at Winterslow
At Winterslow, we recognise the importance of prayer helps children to feel closer to God and reflect on their personal thoughts, feelings and values. Each child in school has a personal Prayer Journal which they take with them on their journey through school.
Prayer Journal
Each term they are encouraged to reflect on our school value and create a personal picture or a prayer. To guide children's prayer writing, we use the Window, Mirror, Door structure from our school Collective Worship. This is used to support children in prayer writing and helps to support a natural progression in prayer across the school.
